Who we are

Ma'jestik Events is an event planning, decoration, catering and ushering company operating in Lagos State, Nigeria. Our office is at No 31 Osholigbeyin Street (De Morro), Off Obafemi Awolowo Way, Oke Ota-Ona, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It is written to reflect the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Information we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. When you fill in the enquiry form on our contact page, we ask for:

• Your name — so we know who we're speaking to
• Your phone or WhatsApp number — how we reply to you
• Your email address — optional, only if you'd prefer email
• Details about your event — the type of event, which of our services you need, your date, venue or area, estimated guest count, and anything you tell us about your vision

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, payment card details, bank passwords, or BVN through this website.

How your enquiry actually reaches us

This is worth being clear about. Our enquiry form does not send data to a server we control. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with the details you typed already written into a message — you then send that message to us. Nothing leaves your device until you tap send in WhatsApp.

This means your enquiry travels through WhatsApp and is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not ours. Once we receive it, this policy applies to how we store and use it.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to:

• Reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
• Prepare a quotation for your event
• Plan and deliver the services you book
• Keep in touch about your event as the date approaches

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. If delivering your event means involving a partner — a caterer, a venue, a rental supplier — we share only what that partner needs to do their part.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies of its own and does not run advertising or analytics trackers.

It does load a few resources from other companies, which may see your IP address as a normal part of serving those files:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site
• Cloudflare — the icon set
• unpkg — the scroll animation library
• Google Maps — the embedded map on our contact page

How long we keep it

If you enquire and don't go on to book, we keep your details only as long as it is useful to follow up — normally no more than twelve months. If you book an event with us, we keep your records for as long as needed to deliver the event and to meet our tax and accounting obligations afterwards.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, where we have no obligation to keep it
• Stop using your information for a particular purpose

Keeping your information safe

Access to enquiries and client records is limited to the people at Ma'jestik Events who need them to do their work. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable care with everything you share with us.

Children

We decorate a great many children's parties, but our services are booked by adults. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
