These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Ma'jestik Events provides its services. The specific commercial details of any event — scope, price, deposit, payment dates and timings — are set out in the written quotation and booking confirmation we issue to you. Where your quotation says something different from this page, your quotation is what counts.
Ma'jestik Events offers four services, which may be booked individually or together:
Enquiries made through this website, by phone or on WhatsApp are requests — they are not a booking, and they do not hold your date. We will respond with a quotation based on the details you give us.
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it and is based on the scope described. Your date is reserved only once you have accepted the quotation and paid the booking deposit stated on it. Until then the date remains available to other clients.
All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira. The amount of the deposit, the balance, and the dates by which each falls due are set out in your quotation. We may pause or withhold delivery where a payment due before the event has not been received.
If you ask for changes after booking — a larger guest count, a different venue, additional installations, an extended schedule — we will confirm any effect on the price in writing before carrying the change out.
Life happens, and we would rather move a date than lose a client. If you need to postpone, tell us as early as you can and we will do our best to transfer your booking to a new date, subject to our availability and to any costs already committed on your behalf.
If you cancel, the deposit and the treatment of any further sums paid are governed by the cancellation terms in your quotation. Those terms exist because we turn away other work to hold your date and commit to suppliers ahead of time.
To deliver your event well, we rely on you to:
Where a delay is caused by the venue, by another supplier, or by access we were not granted in time, we cannot be responsible for the effect on setup.
Much of what we install — structures, vases, drapes, furniture, lighting — is hired rather than sold, and remains our property. It is returned to us at the end of the event. Where hired items are lost or damaged during the event by you, your guests, or another party at the venue, the cost of repair or replacement is chargeable.
We usually photograph our setups before guests arrive, and we may use those photographs in our portfolio, on this website and on social media. These images are of the décor, not of your guests. If you would prefer we did not publish images from your event, tell us before the day and we will respect that.
We are not liable for failures caused by events genuinely beyond our control — severe weather, flooding, fire, power failure, civil unrest, government restrictions, or a venue becoming unavailable. Where such an event affects your booking, we will work with you to reschedule or to deliver as much as is safely possible.
We take real care with every event, but our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you have paid us for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
The text, photographs, designs and layout on this website belong to Ma'jestik Events and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without our permission. Photographs on this site show completed work; every event we design is bespoke, so your event will differ in detail from the examples shown.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute falls to the courts of Lagos State. We would far rather resolve anything by talking to you first.
If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book — we are happy to explain:
